Darázscsípés

Darázscsípés refers to the sting or bite of a wasp. Wasps, belonging to the order Hymenoptera, possess a stinger that they use for defense or to paralyze prey. Unlike some bees, wasps can sting multiple times. The venom injected during a darázscsípés contains proteins and enzymes that cause local reactions.

The immediate effects of a darázscsípés typically include pain, redness, swelling, and itching at the site of the sting. This localized reaction is a common inflammatory response to the venom. Wearing protective clothing when outdoors in areas with high wasp populations can also reduce the risk. If stung, it is advised to wash the area with soap and water and apply a cold compress.
