Dampfkammern
Dampfkammern, often translated as steam chambers or steam rooms, are enclosed spaces designed to be filled with warm, moist air. These rooms are typically found in spas, saunas, and wellness centers, offering a distinct experience from dry saunas. The humidity level in a dampfkammer is generally high, often reaching 100%, while the temperature is considerably lower than in a traditional sauna, usually ranging between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius (104 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
The steam is generated by a steam generator that heats water and injects it into the room.
Dampfkammern are constructed from materials that can withstand constant exposure to high humidity, such as ceramic
