DIMMtyypit refers to the different types of Dual In-line Memory Modules (DIMMs) used in computer systems. DIMMs are a crucial component of a computer's random-access memory (RAM). They are circuit boards that hold RAM chips and are designed to be inserted into a motherboard's memory slots. The primary distinctions between DIMM types lie in their physical dimensions, pin count, voltage requirements, and signaling protocols, which determine their compatibility with specific motherboards and CPUs.
