The choice of clustering technique depends heavily on the nature of the data, the desired outcome, and the specific problem being addressed. Evaluating the quality of clusters is also a crucial aspect, often involving internal validation metrics that assess the compactness and separation of clusters, or external validation metrics when ground truth labels are available.
