Cleardrying

Cleardrying refers to the process of drying and cleaning a surface, typically a glass or mirror, to achieve a streak-free, spotless finish. This method is commonly used in various industries, including automotive, aviation, and household cleaning, to ensure high levels of clarity and transparency. The technique involves using a combination of water, a mild cleaning agent, and a microfiber cloth to remove dirt, dust, and residue without leaving behind streaks or water spots.

The process begins by wetting the surface with clean water, often using a spray bottle or a damp microfiber cloth. A small amount of a non-abrasive cleaner, such as glass cleaner or a diluted solution of vinegar and water, may be applied to help break down grease and grime. The surface is then wiped in smooth, overlapping motions using a clean microfiber cloth, which is preferred over paper towels or rags due to its ability to trap dust and prevent scratching. After wiping, the surface is rinsed with clean water to remove any remaining cleaner, followed by a final pass with a dry microfiber cloth to ensure a streak-free result.
