Choco

Choco is a term with several meanings, used in different contexts to refer to chocolate, a place name, and a software project.

Chocolate: Chocolate is a product produced from cacao beans, processed into liquor, cocoa butter, and powders, then combined into bars, chips, coatings, and beverages. It comes in dark, milk, and white varieties, with the cacao content and additional ingredients shaping flavor and texture. It is widely consumed worldwide and used in confectionery, baking, and cooking.

Geography: El Chocó is a department in western Colombia along the Pacific coast, with its capital at Quibdó. It is part of the larger Chocó biogeographic region, which extends into parts of Panama and Ecuador. The area is known for extreme rainfall, tropical rainforests, and high biodiversity, as well as Afro-Colombian and Indigenous communities.
