Cheeseboards, or cheese boards, are platters designed for presenting and sharing a curated selection of cheeses. They are used for casual gatherings, tastings, or as a course in a meal. A typical cheeseboard includes three to five cheeses that vary in milk type (cow, sheep, or goat), texture (soft, semi-soft, or hard), and strength of flavor. It is commonly accompanied by bread or crackers, fruit such as grapes or figs, nuts, and condiments like honey, jam, chutney, or mustard.
