Chansey

Chansey is a Pokémon, a species found in the Pokémon franchise. It is a normal-type Pokémon introduced in the first generation of games. Chansey is known for its distinctive pink, oval body, long neck, and small, stubby legs. It has a yellow, egg-shaped pouch on its abdomen which it uses to carry eggs. These eggs are often described as highly nutritious and are sometimes given to people or other Pokémon when they are feeling unwell. Chansey is also known for its gentle nature and its role as a caregiver.

In the Pokémon universe, Chansey are often found in environments such as grassy plains and hospitals. They are particularly associated with Nurse Joy, who frequently uses Chansey as her partner Pokémon in aiding injured Pokémon. Chansey are known to be quite rare and are generally shy. Their primary method of defense involves laying eggs to distract opponents or, if necessary, using their sturdy body to deliver a solid blow. They are also capable of learning various supportive and healing moves, further emphasizing their nurturing capabilities. Chansey evolves into Blissey after achieving high friendship.
