Chainnetworks
Chainnetworks refer to a class of network architectures in which components are arranged in a sequential chain or series, forming a linear topology. In such networks, each node typically connects to at most two neighbors, creating a path-like structure that processes or transmits information in a staged manner. Chain networks can be found in both physical systems, such as manufacturing or logistics pipelines, and digital systems, including data processing pipelines and certain distributed computing schemes.
Structural characteristics of chain networks include a straightforward, linear layout and a predictable flow of data
Applications of chain networks span manufacturing assembly lines, supply chain routing, sensor and surveillance deployments along
