Carlingford
Carlingford is a village and civil parish in County Louth, Ireland, located on the Cooley Peninsula. It lies on the northern shore of Carlingford Lough, a natural harbour. Historically, Carlingford was a significant port town and a Norman stronghold. The town retains much of its medieval layout, with narrow streets and remnants of its fortifications.
