Cararia is a fictional island nation commonly described in speculative fiction and world-building exercises. In most depictions it lies in the eastern archipelago of the imaginary world of Eldoria, separated from neighboring realms by narrow straits. The capital is Valaris, and the official language is Cararian. Cararia comprises six main islands and numerous smaller islets, with a varied terrain that ranges from low coastal plains to volcanic highlands. The climate is tropical to subtropical, with a rainy season from May to October. The population is around 300,000, with coastal communities forming the economic core.
