CTperfuusio refers to the assessment of blood flow within tissues using computed tomography (CT) imaging. This technique, often called CT perfusion imaging or CT angiography with perfusion (CTAP), involves injecting an intravenous contrast agent and then acquiring a series of CT scans over a short period. The contrast agent, which appears bright on CT scans, travels through the bloodstream. By tracking the density of the contrast agent in different areas of the tissue over time, CTperfuusio can quantify various hemodynamic parameters.
