CT6V is the designation used by Cadillac for the high-performance variant of the CT6 full-size luxury sedan. The model is most widely known as the CT6-V Blackwing, a limited-production version developed to contrast with high-performance rivals in the luxury segment. It features a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 from Cadillac's Blackwing engine family, tuned to produce approximately 640 horsepower and about 600 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered through an eight-speed automatic transmission; drive configurations varied by year and market, with rear-wheel drive configured as standard and all-wheel drive offered in certain markets.

The CT6V Blackwing includes a performance-focused chassis with adaptive suspension, a stiffer body structure, and enhanced braking systems.
