CBCTkuvaus refers to Cone Beam Computed Tomography imaging. It is a specialized dental and medical imaging technique that uses a cone-shaped X-ray beam to acquire volumetric data of hard tissues. Unlike conventional medical CT scans that use a fan-shaped beam and multiple rotations, CBCT utilizes a single rotation to capture a 3D image of the scanned area. This results in significantly lower radiation doses compared to traditional CT scans.
