Búvárfelszerelések refers to the equipment used for scuba diving. This essential gear allows individuals to explore underwater environments safely and effectively. Key components include a mask, which provides a clear field of vision underwater by creating an air pocket in front of the eyes. A snorkel is often used for breathing at the surface, conserving air from the scuba tank.

The buoyancy control device, or BCD, is a crucial piece of equipment. It allows the diver to control their buoyancy by inflating or deflating a vest, enabling them to ascend, descend, or maintain a neutral position underwater. The regulator is responsible for delivering air from the high-pressure scuba tank to the diver at ambient pressure, making it breathable. This typically consists of a first stage that attaches to the tank and a second stage that the diver breathes from.

Scuba tanks, usually made of aluminum or steel, store the compressed breathing gas, most commonly air. A submersible pressure gauge (SPG) monitors the amount of air remaining in the tank. Divers also wear a wetsuit or drysuit, depending on water temperature, to provide thermal insulation and protection. Fins are worn on the feet to allow for efficient propulsion through the water. Finally, a dive computer tracks depth, dive time, ascent rate, and decompression status, ensuring diver safety.
