Bórids
Bórids refers to a ruling dynasty that governed the Emirate of Córdoba in Al-Andalus. This dynasty emerged in the 11th century following the disintegration of the Caliphate of Córdoba. The Bórids were of Berber origin and established their authority in the region of Seville. They played a significant role in the turbulent period of Taifa kingdoms, which were small, independent Muslim states that arose after the Caliphate's collapse.
The most prominent ruler of the Bórids was Abbad II al-Mu'tadid, who reigned from 1042 to 1064.
