Bovec

Bovec is a town and municipality in western Slovenia, situated in the upper Soča Valley along the Soča River near the Italian border. It serves as the administrative center of the Municipality of Bovec, in the Goriška region. The settlement lies in the Julian Alps, at the eastern end of the Soča Gorge, with surrounding peaks such as Kanin and the Krn mountain group.
