Boostkraftförsörjningar
Boostkraftförsörjningar, often referred to as boost converters, are a type of DC-to-DC power converter that can increase a low DC voltage to a higher DC voltage. They are widely used in electronic devices where a higher voltage is required from a lower voltage source. The fundamental principle of operation involves an inductor, a switch (typically a MOSFET), a diode, and a capacitor. When the switch is turned on, energy is stored in the inductor. When the switch is turned off, the inductor releases this stored energy, and the diode allows the current to flow to the output capacitor, which smooths the voltage. By varying the duty cycle of the switch (the ratio of on-time to the total switching period), the output voltage can be controlled.
The efficiency of boost converters can be quite high, often exceeding 90%, making them a popular choice
