Blutgefäßschäden, also known as vascular damage, refers to any injury or abnormality affecting the blood vessels, which include arteries, veins, and capillaries. These vessels form an intricate network throughout the body, responsible for transporting blood, oxygen, and nutrients to all tissues and organs, and for removing waste products. Damage to this system can have widespread and serious consequences.

Causes of blutgefäßschäden are diverse. They can result from mechanical trauma, such as a direct blow, cut, or crush injury, leading to bruising, bleeding, or rupture. Treatment strategies vary widely and may include medication to manage blood pressure or cholesterol, surgical interventions to repair or bypass damaged vessels, or lifestyle modifications to prevent further damage.
