Blodite is a term used in science fiction and fantasy to denote a fictional mineral. It is not a recognized mineral in real-world geology or by the International Mineralogical Association, and descriptions of blodite vary widely across authors and game worlds.

In many portrayals, blodite appears as an opaque, crimson to blood-red mineral with a glassy to resinous luster. Reported hardness ranges from about 4 to 6 on the Mohs scale, and bulk density is described in fiction as roughly 3.2 to 4.5 g/cm3. Crystals, when depicted, are typically prismatic or columnar; more often, blodite is described as massive or granular.
