Some locations are staffed by store employees, while others are automated lockers operated by third parties. Access is usually provided via a tracking code, QR code, or an ID check.

Process and use are generally straightforward: after an online purchase, the customer receives a notification with a pickup code. At the bestelpunt, they present the code or scan a barcode, and the package is released either by staff or by selecting a locker compartment. For certain items or locations, additional verification such as ID may be required.
