Baggerresten

The word combines bagger, meaning dredger or excavator, with resten, meaning remainder or residue. In practice, baggerresten refers to the material that remains after the desired dredged portion has been removed, typically a mixture of sediment such as mud, sand, silt and clay, along with organic matter and sometimes rubble or contaminants.
