Aurujuhe is a traditional martial art originating from the indigenous peoples of the Amazon rainforest, particularly among the Ashaninka and Shipibo-Konibo communities in Peru. The name "Aurujuhe" is derived from the Ashaninka language, where "auru" means "warrior" and "juhe" translates to "path" or "way," collectively signifying the "path of the warrior." This martial art reflects the cultural and survival values of these indigenous groups, emphasizing balance, agility, and deep connection with nature.
