Augustines

Augustines is an American indie rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in the late 2000s by singer-songwriter Billy McCarthy, formerly of Pela, and multi-instrumentalist Eric Sanderson. The duo developed a stripped-back, emotionally charged sound characterized by muscular guitar riffs, piano-driven melodies, and visceral vocal delivery. Their music often centers on themes of struggle, endurance, and personal redemption.

The group released their debut album Rise Ye Sunken Ships in 2011, which drew positive notices for its raw energy and anthemic hooks.
