Armorarmament

Armorarmament is a compound term used to describe integrated systems that combine protective armor with offensive armaments. It is applied broadly to vehicles, vessels, fixed fortifications, and personal systems in which defensive and offensive capabilities are designed to function together as a coherent unit rather than as separate subsystems.

The concept traces its practical roots to historical developments that paired heavy protection with weapons, such as armored warships and later tanks, where survivability and firepower were jointly optimized.
