Arequipas

Arequipas are residents or natives of Arequipa, a city in southern Peru. In English, the standard demonym for people from Arequipa is Arequipeños, though Arequipas may be used informally to refer to residents of the area.

Arequipa is the capital of the Arequipa Region and one of Peru’s largest urban centers. It lies along the Chili River at high altitude and features a historic center that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
