Anshun

Anshun is a prefecture-level city in Guizhou Province, China. It sits in the central-western part of the province and functions as an administrative, economic, and cultural center for the region. The city administers two urban districts, Xixiu and Pingba, along with several counties.

Geography and climate: Anshun lies within Guizhou's karst landscape, characterized by mountains, rivers and caves. The area has a humid subtropical monsoon climate, with mild winters, warm summers, and abundant rainfall, especially from May to September.
