Alppish is a language concept associated with the Alpine region that appears in linguistic fiction and among enthusiasts of constructed languages. It is described as either a deliberately engineered language designed to reflect Alpine sound patterns and social life, or as a hypothetical regional tongue used in fictional or speculative contexts. The name blends the Alpine geography with the common linguistic suffix -ish.

Phonology and writing systems are typically described as Latin-based, with diacritics to mark vowel quality and stress. The consonant inventory commonly includes p, b, t, d, k, g, f, s, h, m, n, l, r and a palatal y. Vowels are the five standard qualities a, e, i, o, u, sometimes with length or stress distinctions in dialectal descriptions. Orthography often uses diacritics to differentiate close or rounded vowels.

Grammar in Alppish is usually presented as analytic with a basic subject–verb–object order. Noun phrases may use a light article system and adjectives commonly follow nouns.
