Akselerometeret

Akselerometeret, also known as an accelerometer, is a device that measures proper acceleration, which is the acceleration of an object as measured in a non-inertial reference frame. It is widely used in various applications, including consumer electronics, automotive safety systems, and industrial machinery monitoring.

The basic principle behind an accelerometer is the detection of the inertial resistance of a mass to acceleration. When the accelerometer experiences acceleration, the mass inside it moves relative to the housing, and this movement is converted into an electrical signal. In industrial settings, accelerometers are used to monitor the vibration and acceleration of machinery, helping to detect potential issues before they lead to failure.
