It is a method designed to flush game animals, typically larger mammals like deer or wild boar, towards a line of waiting hunters. The driven game then runs into a pre-determined area where other hunters, the "standers," are positioned. These standers remain stationary, waiting for the flushed animals to pass by within shooting range.
