AVCM

AVCM, or Automated Vehicle Control Model, is a computer-based system designed for the control and operation of automated vehicles. Developed primarily for the control of overhead cranes, the AVCM is a type of distributed control system that utilizes multiple computers to manage the complex operations of these heavy machinery.

The AVCM system operates through a network of interconnected computers, each equipped with software customized for specific levels of the automated vehicle's operation. This approach to automation, also known as concurrent engineering, enables multiple engineers to input and modify the system's software at various levels, representing the parallel abundance of tasks and input streams in real-time operations.

The system allows for the input of actual crane data and the automated vehicle's physical characteristics to generate optimal individual crane control algorithms.
