APXklassen is a German professional esports organization founded in 2016, specializing in competitive *Counter-Strike: Global Offensive* (CS:GO). Based in Cologne, the team was initially established as a side project by a group of friends before evolving into a fully-fledged esports entity. The organization’s name is derived from the abbreviation of its founders’ surnames, "APX," combined with the German word for "class," emphasizing its competitive identity.

APXklassen gained prominence in the CS:GO scene through consistent performance in European leagues. The team’s breakthrough came in 2017 when they secured a spot in the *ESL Pro League*, one of the most prestigious CS:GO tournaments at the time.
