AEDer

An AEDer typically holds a CPR/AED certification from recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association or the Red Cross. Specific skills include correct pad placement, following device prompts, and ensuring no one is touching the patient during defibrillation. AEDers may also be responsible for maintaining the accessibility and readiness of the device, including checking batteries and pad expiry dates.

AEDers are often found in workplaces, schools, community centers, and other public venues, where multiple trained individuals may be part of an emergency response plan. In these settings, AEDers work within established protocols and coordination with emergency medical services.
