Ärzten

Ärzten is the dative plural form of the German noun Arzt. The common nominative plural is Ärzte, used for physicians of all kinds. The form Ärzten appears in contexts requiring the dative case (for example after prepositions that govern the dative, or with the definite article in the dative: den Ärzten).

The term refers to practitioners who diagnose, treat, and prevent illness, provide primary care and coordinate medical services. Doctors may specialize in fields such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, or general practice.
