Åndsrettighederne
Åndsrettighederne is a Danish term referring to intellectual property rights, the legal protections granted to creators for the use and control of their creations. These rights aim to encourage innovation and culture by giving creators exclusive opportunities to monetize and authorize use of their work, while balancing public access and fair use.
The main areas commonly included under åndsrettighederne are:
- Ophavsret (copyright), which protects literary, artistic, musical, and other expressive works, as well as software and
- Patentrettigheder (patent rights), which cover inventions and technical solutions, generally lasting about 20 years from filing,
- Varemærker (trademark rights), which protect brands, logos and identifiers that distinguish goods or services in the
