The resulting permit decision includes specific emission limits, monitoring and reporting obligations, and site- or activity-specific conditions. Permits typically have a defined validity period and may be subject to periodic reviews or amendments.

Operators must monitor compliance with permit conditions and report results to the authorities. If significant changes are planned, or if non-compliance is detected, the permit may be amended, suspended, or revoked. Environmental permits can be appealed to the Administrative Court, and enforcement actions may be taken for violations.
