vérlemezkeaggregációt
Vérlemezkeaggregáció is the process by which blood platelets (vérlemezek) clump together. This is a critical step in hemostasis, the body's natural mechanism for stopping bleeding. When a blood vessel is injured, platelets circulating in the blood encounter the damaged site. They then adhere to the exposed collagen and, in response to various signaling molecules, undergo a change in shape and release substances that attract and activate more platelets. These activated platelets then bind to each other through specific receptors, forming a platelet plug. This plug temporarily seals the injured vessel, preventing excessive blood loss.
The process of platelet aggregation is tightly regulated. While essential for preventing hemorrhage, excessive or inappropriate
