vérlemezek
Vérlemezek, also known as thrombocytes, are small, irregular-shaped cell fragments found in blood. They are produced in the bone marrow from megakaryocytes and play a crucial role in hemostasis, the process of stopping bleeding. When a blood vessel is injured, vérlemezek aggregate at the site of injury, forming a temporary plug. They also release various substances that promote blood clotting, such as clotting factors and vasoconstrictors.
The normal count of vérlemezek in a healthy adult is typically between 150,000 and 450,000 per microliter
