Våningar is the plural form of the Swedish noun våning, referring to the floors or levels of a building. The term is used in architecture, construction, and real estate to describe the horizontal divisions that occupants use to access spaces, rooms, and facilities. In many contexts, basements are described with other terms such as källare or undervåning rather than as våningar, although some listings may refer to a basement level as a "lower våning" in casual language.

In Swedish practice, the ground level is commonly called bottenvåning or entréplan, while the floors above are numbered from the first våning upward. Thus, the first våning is the level above the ground floor, the second våning is two levels up, and so on. This numbering system can vary in real estate listings or architectural drawings, where floors may be designated as våning 1, våning 2, etc., or simply by their ordinal name.

Common compound terms include vindsvåning for an attic or loft floor, and entrévåning or bottenvåning for the entrance level. In multi-storey housing, våningar are often connected by stairs or elevators, and floor plans specify the arrangement of rooms on each våning.
