Ultralühilaine, often abbreviated as ULL, refers to a specific range of radio frequencies. It is a part of the ultra-high frequency (UHF) band and extends from approximately 300 MHz to 3 GHz. This frequency range is characterized by very short wavelengths, hence the name.

The ultralühilaine spectrum is utilized for a variety of important applications. One of the most common uses is for television broadcasting, particularly digital terrestrial television (DTT). The relatively short wavelengths associated with ultralühilaine allow for directional antennas, which can focus radio signals, leading to efficient communication over shorter distances and higher data transfer rates. However, the propagation characteristics of ultralühilaine means that it can be easily blocked by obstacles like buildings and terrain, requiring line-of-sight transmission for optimal performance. International bodies like the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) manage the allocation and regulation of this valuable radio spectrum to ensure its efficient and interference-free use.
