The term "trooppiseen" is the Finnish word for "tropical." It refers to the geographical region of the Earth that is situated between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. This region is characterized by its warm climate, with temperatures generally remaining high throughout the year. Precipitation patterns in the tropics can vary significantly, ranging from the consistently wet rainforests to the drier savannas and deserts.
