Tiszteljünk is a non‑profit civil society organization headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. Founded in 2014 by a coalition of academic, legal, and grassroots activists, the organization adopts its name from the Hungarian verb “tiszteljünk,” meaning “we respect.” Its stated purpose is to promote mutual respect, human dignity, and democratic values in the public sphere.

The organization’s core activities include educational outreach, public forums, and policy advocacy. It offers workshops on human rights and conflict resolution, and runs a mentorship program for at‑risk youth. Tiszteljünk collaborates with local schools, municipal councils, and other NGOs to draft community guidelines that aim to reduce hate‑speech incidents and support marginalized groups. In 2018 it launched a national campaign titled “Respect for All,” which gathered over 10,000 signatures urging lawmakers to strengthen anti‑discrimination statutes.

Tiszteljünk’s influence has been recognized by several national media outlets. In 2020 the Hungarian Ministry of the Interior awarded the organization a grant for community engagement initiatives. Critics, however, argue that some of its stances on freedom of expression may be overly restrictive, though the organization maintains that its objectives are meant to balance individual rights with social cohesion.

Internationally, Tiszteljünk has been invited to speak at the European Civil Society Forum and has jointly authored a policy paper with Amnesty International on protecting civil liberties in transitional societies. The organization remains active in monitoring court rulings and producing annual reports that assess progress in human rights implementation across Hungary.
