In urban and residential settings, a terassialue refers to an outdoor living space, similar to a patio or deck, often situated at ground level or on a raised platform. These areas are designed for recreation, dining, or relaxation and are typically surfaced with materials like paving stones, wood, or gravel. Balconies and rooftop areas can also be considered forms of terassialue. The primary function is to extend the usable living space outdoors.
