Tabloul (plural tablouri) is a two-dimensional visual artwork created by applying pigment to a supporting surface such as canvas, wooden panel, paper, or metal. Tablouri are typically framed and exhibited in galleries, museums, and private spaces. In Romanian, tablouri refers to paintings or pictures in general.

Common techniques include oil painting, acrylics, tempera, and watercolors. Supports include canvas, wood panels, linen, and paper; grounds such as gesso are frequently used. Techniques range from smooth glazing and chiaroscuro to thick impasto and rapid sketching.

Genres cover portraits, landscapes, still life, and history or genre scenes. Styles span from academic and realist to impressionist, modernist, and contemporary. Tablouri may serve religious, commemorative, decorative, or expressive purposes.
