Suhlustüübile is a term of Estonian origin that refers to a specific type of traditional Estonian sauna. The name itself can be translated loosely as "sauna for guests" or "guest sauna." Historically, these saunas were often built as separate structures from the main dwelling, intended for visitors or for special occasions rather than for daily use by the family.

The architecture of a suhlustüübile typically followed traditional Estonian rural building methods. They were often simple, rectangular wooden structures, sometimes with a thatched or shingled roof. Inside, the design was functional, featuring a heated stove (kamin or keris) with stones to produce steam, a wooden bench (lavats) for sitting or lying on, and a water basin. Ventilation was important to manage the steam and heat.

Unlike some other traditional saunas that might incorporate specific rituals or medicinal practices, the suhlustüübile's primary purpose was cleansing and relaxation for those outside the immediate household. They played a social role, providing a space for guests to be welcomed and cared for, and sometimes for communal bathing. While less common today as distinct structures, the concept of a guest-oriented sauna experience remains relevant in modern Estonian sauna culture.
