subiu

Subiu is the third-person singular form of subir in Portuguese, corresponding to the past simple (pretérito perfeito) of "to go up" or "to rise." It is used to describe movement upward or increases in value, level, or intensity. In everyday language, subir covers physical ascent (subiu a colina), rising quantities (subiu o preço), and upward changes in statistics or measurements (subiu a temperatura, subiu as ações).

It is a regular -ir verb; standard conjugation across most dialects is eu subi, tu subiste, ele subiu, nós subimos, vós subistes, eles subiram.
