A strømforsyningsmodul, often translated as power supply module, is a self-contained electronic circuit designed to provide a specific voltage or current from a different source, typically mains electricity or a battery. These modules are essential components in a vast array of electronic devices, ensuring that the sensitive internal circuitry receives the stable and appropriate power it needs to function.

The primary function of a strømforsyningsmodul is to convert the input power, which may be alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) at a higher voltage, into a regulated DC output at a lower, specific voltage.
