Stimuloihin is a Finnish-language form that can appear in scientific or translated texts to refer to stimuli. The base term is the borrowed word stimulus, while in everyday Finnish the more common translation for stimuli is ärsykkeet. Stimuloihin may be encountered in contexts where loanword usage is preserved or when citing English-language phrasing in Finnish.

In psychology and neuroscience, a stimulus is anything that elicits a response from a sensory receptor or from an organism.
