Skolefaglige is an adjective used in Danish education to refer to matters related to school subjects or the subject-specific dimension of teaching and learning. It denotes knowledge, skills, learning objectives, assessment criteria, and teaching materials that are tied to a particular subject area within the school curriculum, such as mathematics, Danish, science, or history. The term is commonly used in curriculum documents, teacher planning, and educational policy to distinguish subject-specific objectives from cross-curricular or tværfaglige aims, which span multiple subjects.

In practice, skolefaglige targets are the concrete goals students should achieve within a given subject, for example understanding a mathematical concept, being able to analyze a historical source, or applying grammar rules in Danish writing. Instruction, assessment, and resources labeled as skolefaglige are organized around the traditions and assessment methods of each subject.

The term also appears in phrases such as skolefaglige kompetencer (subject-specific competences) and skolefaglige mål (subject-specific goals). It is used across primary and secondary education in Denmark and helps align teaching with national or local curricula.
