Senteissä is a form often discussed in the context of Finnish currency terminology. In standard Finnish, the inessive plural of the noun sentti (cent) is sentteissä, used to indicate location or position “in the cents” (for example, referring to coins or amounts expressed in cents). The form senteissä is generally considered nonstandard or a common misspelling, since the correct spelling preserves the double consonant in the stem: sentti → sentt- → sentteissä.

Because sentti denotes the euro cent subunit, the term appears mainly in financial or numeric contexts.
